The Ondo State House of Assembly Service Commission has congratulated Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for another landmark achievement of his administration on the approval of Ondo Seaport.

According to the Commission, the development will further enhance the economic development of Ondo State.

The Commission in a congratulatory message to the Governor Akeredolu and the people of Ondo State, said the port will put the state on a highway of development.

The statement signed by the Commission's Chairman, Rt Hon Dare Emiola called for timely commencement to ensure a reasonable completion time-frame for the Aketi legacy project.

The Commission described the approval as a landmark achievement for the administration of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in line with his purposeful determination to develop Ondo State and her people.

The commission said, "This development will create window of opportunities for investors and attract more job opportunities for the teeming unemployed in the state and Nigeria in general."

The Assembly Commission calls for mutual understanding, cooperation and support from the host communities.
